The big money is flooding in now... underdog Travis the Cat lept to the lead from 5th place. It's clear at this point that young Macy will be retiring from politics to focus on butterflies and lure coursing. She raised much more than we expected, held a respectable lead for close to 4 weeks and hopefully encouraged others (through luv or mud) to cast ballots. All proceeds go to the Rabbit Hash Historical Society which owns and maintains the town. Their goal was to raise $15,000 to make critical repairs on the General Store's foundation which sits precariously on top a creek. It was a fun race and we definitely have a happy ending!
